Paul instructed Timothy to "Pray for kings and others in power so that we may live
quiet and peaceful lives as we worship and honor God. This kind of prayer is good,
and it pleases God..." I Timothy 2:2,3
We need to pray for the upcoming elections. This country needs the right people, now
more than ever.
WE NEED TO PRAY AS NEVER BEFORE! Our nation is at a critical point and attitudes in
government are not the best at this time. Our President has requested prayer.
In fact, whether one agrees or disagrees, the mandate from God is to pray for those in
power. We are called to pray for our President and his staff, that they will have the wisdom
from God during these incredibly challenging times.
Pray for your State and National Representatives in Government. Decisions are being made
that will affect our nation for generations to come!
As you go through your day, pause to ask God to provide wisdom and insight to our leaders
today.
