1/28/08 Betty Terrones is the wife of the pastor of the church in Inca, Peru. She may have a tumor
on her thyroid gland. Pray it is not cancer and for complete recovery. (Jeff and Judy Hughes)
1/18/08 David and Suzanne Adams, are IMB missionaries. They covet our prayers for their
protection from illness and injuries as well as prayers for the safety of the pastors and lay
leaders who attend their week long classes. They are in areas that are or can easily be hostile to
Christians.
1/18/08 Mark and M.J. Grossman - are back in Kenya and seek prayers for the people in that
country and their ministry.
1/18/08 Scott and Erica Goodyear now live in St Peters, MO and ministering with CCC to
students at University of Missouri- St Louis, and Lindenwood University. They are seeking more
prayer and financial support. They are expecting their first child in February
David, Joy, Micah and Caleb Cox had success in church planning, but the unrest in Nairobi, has
been an issue. Pray for their safety, and continued success in their work.
February UPDATE 2/15/08 - Brian and Jamie Powers - missionary workers in Arizona. They are
Missionaries with the North American Mission Board, they are currently working on college
campuses in the East Valley of Metro Phoenix. They seek your prayer for them as they share the
gospel with the students in Arizona, also.(Condolences on the loss of their premature daughter,
Madison
Paul and Evonne Boggs - North American Mission Board - They serve in organizing and
implementing ministry programs throughout the US.
Michael and Vicki Shattuck, International Mission Board, serving Our Lord, in Poland. They have
three children, they adopted in Poland (siblings) , they are Rachel, Benjamin, and Matthew.
Scott and Megan Kelly (CO) are starting a new church, in Denver area. Pray the success of
Christchurch. Pray also, for them, as they are having their third child. Prayers for healthy baby.
They are the son-in-law and daughter of Gene and Paula Sherrill (Members FBCE
Ron and Alana Grennwich - serving in Brazil - are currently in the U.S. on business and family
visitation. They have a dynamic ministry in southern Brazil and God has and is blessing that
ministry in many ways. Pray that God's Holy Spirit will continue to empower them as they lead
people to Christ and build congregations in that area. They also have children serving as
missionaries in other countries. What an example!! More information to come!!!

UPDATE: 10/20/07 - Jerry and Cathy Hertzler - ministering through Campus Crusade for Christ
at Orlando FL - Jerry reports that the ministry in Romania during the month of March ,(first
month), the website had 791 people who indicated that they accepted Christ as their Savior.
Pray for these new Christians who are coming under a spiritual attack and those who are
working with the websites. The websites being updated in Macedonia, Poland, Slovakia, and
Serbia, are doing well, and the new technology is making it safer for those who are using the
web sites, to spread God's Word, without fear of reprisal. What a ministry! "And every person
shall hear before He returns!"

Ministries in Far East - Pray for those who have committed their lives to sharing the Gospel of
Christ to the millions there. The people are a lovely people, they are a hard working people. It is
estimated that 98% have never heard of Christ and His salvation. However, it is also estimated
the Christian population has exceeded 1,000,000. Pray for the nations and for those who share
the message of Christ.
Jim and Sherry Neal - serving in Peru in the Lima Apartment Ministry Project.
John and Shannon Pettet - ministering in Southeast Asia. Pray for them as they continue to
mourn the loss of their son in an accident
Slavik and Nadya Pyzh - Ukraine - currently studying at Southwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary to better prepare himself to minister through their seminary in the Ukraine. Pray that
they will have a smooth transition from the Ukraine as they begin their studies in Ft Worth TX.
They have three children.
- Bartek and Gosia Serkowski - Poland - Ministering through CCC Intl. to students and the
people of Poland sharing the Gospel of Christ. Pray that God will bless his ministry and provide
his every need. They work on college campuses and through the use of the internet. Just
recently they hosted a Christian concert that was attended by about 200 students. Twenty of
them indicated they would like to meet with Bartek and his team and talk about God. Pray for
them as they share the Good News with these students. The gospel is presented on their
website and people respond to the gospel message. Your continued prayer for him and his
family is coveted.
